Key Features and Notes

1. This app is limited to **users aged 17 and older** who can comply with these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.
2. The app requires only a nickname and an email address for registration. Only nicknames are visible to other users, ensuring a safe and easy-to-use experience.
3. This app never displays previously uploaded videos or photos. Only currently active users are shown on the map, enabling groundbreaking P2P real-time video sharing.
4. Video data exchanged through this app is never stored on any server, including those operated by us.
5. Users bear full responsibility for uploading or publishing videos to social media platforms (SNS).
6. For security and user safety, users located within a 5 km radius (10 km diameter) are not displayed on the map. **Additionally, once a user blocks another, both will no longer appear on each other’s maps thereafter.**
7. Because this app relies on video transmission, a stable Wi-Fi connection is strongly recommended.
8. To protect personal information and intellectual property, filming identifiable individuals (faces, addresses, license plates, etc.) is strictly prohibited.
9. Additional restrictions and notes are set forth in these Terms of Use and must be agreed to prior to using the app.

Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (hereinafter "Terms") set forth the conditions for using the MapLiver application (hereinafter "App") provided by MapLiver (trademark registration pending, individually operated, 📩 Contact: **administrator@mapliver.com**, hereinafter "we" or "our").

By installing or using this App, the user (hereinafter "User") is deemed to have agreed to all provisions of these Terms.

Article 1 (Service Content)

1. This App allows Users to send and receive one-minute live video streams in real time via the map interface.
2. Video data is transmitted directly via P2P communication and is never stored by us.
3. For safety, users located within a certain range (e.g., 5 km radius) are not displayed on the map. **Furthermore, once a user blocks another due to inappropriate content, both will no longer be displayed on each other’s maps.**
4. The features, contents, communication methods, and availability of this App may be changed, suspended, or discontinued at our discretion without prior notice.

Article 2 (Prohibited Activities)

Users must not engage in the following activities:

1. Acts that violate laws or public order and morals.
2. Filming in prohibited areas (e.g., military facilities, courthouses, airport security zones).
3. Infringing third-party privacy (faces, addresses, license plates, or other identifiable information).
4. Infringing copyrights, trademarks, portrait rights, or other rights.
5. Unauthorized use of videos or data provided through this App.
6. Harassment, defamation, threats, discriminatory remarks, or nuisance acts.
7. Unauthorized access to or overloading of the App’s systems or servers.
8. Reverse engineering, analysis, modification, or other unauthorized use.
9. Any acts deemed inappropriate by us.

Article 3 (Disclaimer)

1. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, legality, appropriateness, or safety of videos or information transmitted through this App.
2. If a User’s video infringes third-party privacy or rights, the User bears full responsibility. Neither we, Apple Inc., Google LLC, distributors, nor related parties ("Exempt Parties") shall bear liability.
3. If a User uploads recorded/saved videos to SNS, the uploader bears full responsibility. Exempt Parties accept no liability.
4. Points, statuses, and other gamified features are for entertainment only; Exempt Parties accept no liability for accuracy, errors, or results.
5. Exempt Parties bear no liability for unstable video, delays, or data costs caused by networks (including non-Wi-Fi) or devices.
6. Exempt Parties bear no liability for damages including direct, indirect, consequential, or loss of profits.
7. This App is provided "as is" without warranties of merchantability, fitness, completeness, or non-infringement.
8. While we may reasonably respond to inquiries or deletion requests, we are not obliged to respond in all cases. Exempt Parties accept no liability for delays or inability to respond.

Article 4 (User Environment)

1. Users are responsible for their own devices, internet connection, and environment at their own expense.
2. A high-speed, stable Wi-Fi connection is strongly recommended.
3. All communication and device usage costs are borne by the User.

Article 5 (User Content)

1. Users bear full responsibility for content created, transmitted, saved, or published via this App.
2. Content must not infringe third-party rights.
3. Any complaints, claims, or disputes arising from content must be resolved by the User at their own expense. Exempt Parties accept no liability.

Article 6 (Intellectual Property Rights)

1. All copyrights, trademarks, patents, and intellectual property related to this App belong to us.
2. "MapLiver" is under trademark application and may not be used or imitated without authorization.
3. Reproduction, modification, or commercial use of this App is prohibited.

Article 7 (Service Changes, Suspension, Termination)

1. We may change, suspend, or terminate this App at any time without prior notice.
2. Exempt Parties accept no liability for damages resulting from such actions.

Article 8 (Amendments to Terms)

1. We may amend these Terms without prior notice.
2. Continued use after amendments constitutes agreement to the updated Terms.

Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

1. These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan.
2. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
